Our carpet installer cancelled today because of bad weather.
Todd and I stayed up 'til 2:00 AM getting ready for the carpet install...then Todd got up at 5:00 to finish cleaning up before work.
We had to take everything out of the boys room and stack it in the livingroom.
I'd take a picture...but I think my camera is at the bottom of the pile.
The kids have nowhere to sleep.
The laundry room is stacked full of stuff, too.
We have no clean clothes.
Now we have to spend Caleb's birthday putting our house together.
I like to do fun stuff with my kids on April Fool's, and Easter, and birthday's, and Spring Break, and Conference weekend...
...but all the spring "fun" has been rolled into ONE crazy weekend where I don't have access to any of our stuff.
I'm not happy, Bob...not happy.

That would make me upset too. So is he coming the fist part of next week?
Is it snowing in your house? Still trying to figure out why he can't install with bad weather. Sorry!!!

Good one. April Fools! Ha! You had me going for a minute. Can't wait until tomorrow when you can post real pictures of the newly installed carpet. ; )
Oh, how I wish this had been and April Fool's joke...but it is not. Luckily, the guy is here today (but complained about the snowpacked roads) and by tonight I hope to be able to clear out some of the pile in my livingroom.
I've been in that same situation recently too. Luckily, it sounds like yours will actually be finished BEFORE the baby comes so yours will have a place to live when he joins the family. My little one didn't get a room and a crib until she was almost two months old!
