We took scenic Highway 12 today (which we've heard is considered one of the top three scenic drives in the nation). It definitely lived up to its reputation. This picture above is very disappointing because you can't tell at all how steep it is, nor does it look very impressive. This is a point where you are driving on a narrow road, and there's a HUGE drop-off on each side. My stomach actually "flopped" at one point. You HAVE to see this in person to get the full effect.

If you stay on Highway 12 for about 3 hours you end up at Bryce Canyon.
