I finally broke down and bought a parachute from Oriental Trading Company, and it came in the mail the day we left for our campout. I wish I'd gotten a bigger one, but for $8, the kids had fun and we'll be able to play with it by ourselves or with the neighbors, rather than having to invite the whole town over to use a 14 foot one.

We didn't quite fit under the 6-footer

Here we are eating tin-foil dinners. Mine was fat and juicy, just like I'd hoped. We ate well during our campout and meals included tin-foil dinners, Fatboys, homemade rootbeer, French toast, breakfast burritos, hoagie sandwiches, teriyaki chicken, dutch oven potatoes, and dutch oven berry cobbler. Yum!

Caleb discovered ultimate frisbee and had so much fun! He's quite a good little frisbee player.
