In the path of the fire...

We are 76 miles (as the crow flies) from the huge fire that is burning in Beaver County. I'm pretty sure it is now considered the biggest fire in Utah's history. These pictures were taken on Saturday night when is was "raining" ash in Loa.

Mom, Dad, and Grandma Great had taken the scenic highway 12 drive and came back through Panguitch about the time that I-15 was being closed. They described it as being like "the last days."

Luckily, the wind seems to have shifted, and our sky is pretty blue today.
