Independence Day

Two very happy boys :o)
Grandma and Grandpa Salisbury, and Grandma Great came a day early for our family campout at Capitol Reef to spend the 4th of July with us.

They got to Loa in time for dinner. Since it was so hot in our house, we had a picnic dinner of kabobs, potato salad, and bean dip out on the front lawn.

After dinner, we pulled out our super fabulous $6 box of fireworks, and some sparklers and pops and the boys had a blast. Then we watched the various "real" fireworks that were shooting off around town (until the police shut them down).

It was a fun time and sure beat last year when we spent our holiday moving in...

Have you really been there a year now? Goodness time flies! (Especially when I'm not the one doing all your house projects! :)
